Description

The piece was written in 2007 for the 12th grade. It served as part of the school tradition, in which the 12th graders sing to the younger classes as a goodbye and a blessing.

Since we had only very short time for rehearsals, I wrote only a two-voices arrangement – the soprano and the alt that appear here. The class learned the song so quickly that I decided it was possible to add a third voice – the low one. The bass gave a very beautiful twist, which we were all pleased with – in a more modal and even mysterious direction…

As happens often – I found the arrangement suitable also for my choirs.
